Shilpa Rudrappa
With a storied career in Radio and Television including stints as an RJ at AIR, as a Producer at Radio Mirchi and Sun TV, she has worked in several renowned production houses in various capacities.
Shilpa Rudrappa has been a Creative producer and Director of Documentaries, TV features, Radio, and Digital Media. Recently, she was seen in a supporting role in the Kannada film ‘AACHAR & CO.
Deeply rooted with nuance and a distinct understanding of public sentiments, Shilpa has been involved in the production of several PSAs, Healthcare Films, Documentary Films, TV Serials, Legal, Government Communication & Multimedia Content with Social and Political Messaging over the last few years. She has also been responsible for curating online content, including videos, posters and brochures, and managing Social Media pages for India’s leading National Political Parties.
Shilpa has a Master’s degree in Media Studies from Christ University and has been trained in Carnatic music. She has over 20 stage appearances to her credit in English and Kannada and has worked in television and theatre. Her vast experience both behind and in front of the camera has given Shilpa a keen understanding of the technical and artistic aspects of film making.
